Hello and welcome to my website...

Since winning the Costa First Novel Award in January, the whirl of activity around Tiny Sunbirds, Far Away seems to have continued all year. Editions continue to appear in more countries and languages, most recently in China.

And, of course, I am especially delighted that Tiny Sunbirds has come out and been well received in Nigeria. Generous support there is particularly close to my heart.

Meantime, I've been keeping busy. In addition to my day job as a nurse I've been working hard on my next novel, Where Women are Kings, which will be published next year. And I've just had the tremendous pleasure of finding myself the recipient of one of Red's Hot Women Awards! More on that on the News page...
